Teaching philosophy
If you love it, you'll learn to do it.
If you love it, you'll learn to do it. We all know learning to play an instrument is about practice - and if you find some music that you'd really love to play, you'll want to practise it.
From my own experience, and from watching my students over the years, finding music you love remains the single best motivating factor to practise, and the most effective tool for making genuine, lasting progress when learning an instrument.
I have always aimed to guide my students, in the medium and the longer term, towards the music they enjoy and will want to practise. That remains central to how I teach today. I've seen it work time and time again: when a student discovers music they genuinely love, their progress becomes exponential.
